Mission Statement

As a part of the Biostatistics Department at UNC-Chapel Hill School of Public Health, the SRU strives to support and improve the quality of population-based research by:

¤	Applying state-of-the-art principles of design and data-gathering to all collaborative studies in which we participate
¤	Training students to apply these principles to practice, and
¤	Conducting research aimed at improving the design, data-gathering and analysis phases of types of studies we do.
