Robert
Agans Ph.D. is a research associate in the department of
Biostatistics as well
as the research coordinator for the Center for Health Statistics
Research. He received his Ph.D. in social
psychology at Texas A&M University
in
1992 and completed a 2-year post doctorate in epidemiology at the University of Arizona in 1995.
Before coming to Carolina,
Robert taught for the University
of Maryland’s overseas
program in such places as Korea,
Japan,
Spain,
Italy,
Iceland,
and Bosnia.
Robert’s expertise is in questionnaire design and development. His
latest research
interest has focused on cross-cultural issues and questionnaire design, including the
application of IRT models.
