|Mobile Body Composition Unit|
The Mobile Body Composition Unit provides mobile services to help investigators measure body composition and metabolic rate on site in communities across the state of North Carolina. The unit is outfitted with a BodPod, metabolic cart, scales, body fat calipers and other body composition measures. It is fully equipped as a portable laboratory with office space and air conditioning/heat for comfort and efficiency. The unit is available to investigators looking to conduct community-based nutrition and obesity-related research studies.
