The NORC Concierges provide consultation support for the development, design and implementation of nutrition and obesity clinical and translational research.
Concierge services are available to any UNC investigator including a bioinformatics, biostatistics, clinical research, nutrigenomics, or metabolomics component in their nutrition or obesity research.
Initial planning and consultation is provided free of charge. Priority is given to members of the NORC.
Investigators who receive consultation or initial planning assistance must cite the NORC grant in all publications resulting from the use of concierge services. The acknowledgement should read "Supported by National Institutes of Health Grant DK056350 to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Nutrition Obesity Research Center."The publication must include a PubMed Central reference number (PMCID) as described in the NIH Public Access Policy. To ensure compliance, please review the UNC Health Sciences Library's NIH Access Policy Toolkit. Submit a copy of the cited publication to Michelle Collins.
