Dr. He's primary research interests lie in nutritional epidemiology, specifically, diet and nutrients in relation to cardiovascular disease and obesity. He is the Principal Investigator of several NIH-supported projects: trace elements and cardiovascular disease risk factors (NHLBI); amino acids, protein and obesity (NIDDK); and fatty acids and ischemic stroke (NIDDS). Dr. He is a fellow of American Heart Association (AHA) and American college of Nutrition (ACN).
