Cheryll has worked as an Improvement Advisor with the North Carolina Center for Children's Healthcare Improvement. She was a public health practitioner in FL for 19 years and served as a Health Department director for 10 of those years. Her research interests include instituting and evaluating quality improvement initiatives for public health systems. Cheryll is currently working with national, state, and local public health leaders to advance the field of public health finance and public health quality. In NC, thanks to grant funding from Pfizer, she is helping to establish tobacco dependence treatment programs in NC Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Centers by developing online tobacco treatment training modules for staff and consulting on system redesign, project implementation, and continuous quality improvement.
