OPPORTUNITIES FOR SAVINGS ON DISTINGUISHED PROFESSORSHIPS
The State of North Carolina makes it easy to create a named professorship through a series of matching grants.
Donor Gift + State Match = Named Distinguished Professorship
$333,000 + $167,000 = $500,000
$666,000 + $334,000 = $1,000,000
$1,000,000 + $500,000 = $1,500,000
$1,333,000 + $667,000 = $2,000,000
$2,333,000 + $667,000 = $3,000,000
Former UNC President C.D. Spangler has increased the savings available for professorships in the arts and sciences, teaching, engineering, and nursing with an additional matching grant of $250,000.
The Gillings School of Global Public Health is one of the four Schools which qualify for this terrific match through the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering!
