He founded the Constella Group in 1991 and sold it in 2007 to SRA International. In 2008, Holzworth acquired Constella Futures from SRA establishing Futures Group International, LLC. In 2003 and again in 2007, the North Carolina Council for Entrepreneurial Development recognized Holzworth with its Entrepreneurial Excellence Award. In 2005, Ernst & Young named Holzworth as a Carolinas Entrepreneur of the YearŽ.
"Don Holzworth has proved himself invaluable to the School as a visionary advisor who exemplifies the capacity to anticipate future public health challenges, domestic and global, and to accelerate scalable solutions," said Julie MacMillan, managing director, Carolina Public Health Solutions. "Students and faculty alike are energized by their interactions with Don."
