|Design and identity manual|
This manual is intended for use by faculty, staff and students of the School for materials to be shared both internally and externally. By adhering to these standards, we can present a cohesive and unified identity that will help people recognize the School's breadth and depth.
The School's visual identity system consists of the logo as well as other critical design elements such as typography, color palette and fonts.
We want each department and program to have enough flexibility of design to convey its own image and/or personality in an effective, creative manner. At the same time, we need to maintain a central look and feel that visually links all parts back to the whole School.
These materials may be shared with outside vendors who are preparing materials for you. You are free to use outside vendors (as long as you follow the University procedures for using vendors), or you may consult the UNC Creative team, which has been instrumental in developing this visual identity. UNC Creative also will consult with outside designers whenever necessary.
This standards manual supplements the University's identity standards manual.
