The N.C. Department of Health and Human Services and the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services host the One Medicine Symposium to educate and provide attendees with information that will improve collaboration across professional disciplines and enhance preparedness for natural and man-made disasters or infectious disease outbreaks.
This 10th annual symposium, "Pesticides from all sides," will focus on the history, regulation and current status of pesticide use as it relates to people, animals, agriculture, and the environment.
It is open to all public health professionals, environmental health specialists, physicians, nurses, veterinarians, veterinary technicians, agriculture professionals, and federal, military, state and local government partners.
Registration is $50. Continuing Education is provided.
