|Rager wins prestigious SOT Novartis Award|
Julia Rager, PhD candidate in the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering, is the recipient of the prestigious Novartis Award from the society of Toxicology. Rager was awarded the Novartis Award Graduate Student Fellowship at this year's SOT meeting in San Francisco. The competitive award is given to student members of the SOT engaged in full-time graduate study towards a Ph.D. degree in toxicology.
The Award Committee's evaluation is based primarily on originality of the dissertation research productivity, relevance to toxicology, scholastic achievement and letters of recommendation.
