The School's All-Hazards Preparedness Committee sponsors CPR/AED (Automated External Defibrillator) classes, held conveniently at the School and available to any public health student or staff or faculty member.
2013 classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in 0015 Michael Hooker Research Center on these dates:
The cost of the class is $30 for students (plus $5.50 for course completion card) and $40 for staff or faculty members (plus $5.50 for completion card). Payment can be made by check payable to the instructor, Josie Castagnola, and can be given to her at the class or to Rob Kark or Brent Wishart in 204 Rosenau Hall prior to the class.
Course Completion Card
These classes use American Heart Association materials. Those who successfully complete the one-day, approximately 3.5-hour course will receive an American Heart Association course completion card in CPR and AED.
If you are unable to make any of the times listed but are still interested in a CPR class at the School, please email Rob Kark at email@example.com to let us know what times would be better for you. If there is enough interest, we may be able to create another class.
