|HPM alum named CEO of project to recognize teachers, build students’ character|

Lisa Hartsock, MPH, 1993 health policy and management alumna at the Gillings School, was named chief executive officer of the nonprofit organization, The Be Kind People Project™, on Oct. 7.
The organization, based in Phoenix, Ariz., aims to improve the national educational environment by recognizing teachers and engaging students in character-building.
